Partner Benefits

Find out all of the benefits you can get as a Mercy Home Hero.

React Physical Therapy

React Physical Therapy is the official PT partner of the Mercy Home Heroes. React is helping people feel better fast and get moving again at six Chicago-area locations. The Reavy Method is an innovative whole-body approach to physical therapy designed to relieve your pains, remove the stiffness, and help you feel stronger and more balanced.

Did you know you can now go to PT in Illinois without a prescription? When you set up an appointment and tell them you're a Hero, you'll be eligible for a free in-depth screening. Telehealth options are available for those not in the Chicago-area.

The best time to see a PT is at the first sign of pain. Don't wait until it keeps you from running! That's too late. They'll find your weaknesses and be sure they don't hinder you in the long run.

All Heroes who become patients will receive a free React t-shirt and a lacrosse ball (trust me, you'll want one!).

Their YouTube channel has a ton of great exercises you can use to get stronger and they'll also provide Hero specific webinars throughout the season to be sure you get to the start line healthy.

React's great team of therapists will man the recovery room at Hero HQ after the race (COVID regulations may affect this). They'll help you start to heal and get you feeling better quickly.

The CryoBar

The CryoBar, Chicago’s premier cryotherapy destination, is the official recovery partner of the Mercy Home Heroes.

With locations in Lincoln Park, Bucktown, and West Loop, you can experience the natural anti-inflammatory response that comes from the body’s exposure to subzero temperatures. The CryoBar focuses on using the benefits of cryotherapy to aid in your wellness and recovery journey.

Whole Body Cryotherapy helps flush lactic acid from the body and increases collagen production, helping heal muscles, ligaments and tendons--decreasing recovery time for all levels of athletes.

If you've never experienced cryotherapy, check out the video above to get the scoop from owner Sara Latham, who gives her pitch while undergoing a 3-minute, full-body cryo treatment!
